Your Life Practice

Jul 15, 2019

On today’s show we had an inspiring conversation with Allyson Whipple all about creativity and how to reignite your spark if you are feeling blocked. We met Allyson through her being a fan of the podcast. She is a student of our teacher YogaRupa Rod Stryker and has been wonderfully engaged with us since first listening to our show. When we found out what she does we couldn’t wait to have her share her brilliance with all of you. Through her experience of feeling disconnected and writers block Allyson used her practice to remember and reclaim her own creativity. She has now brought it all together in the ultimate 40 day program for others who are struggling to find or reclaim their innate spark - Connect to Your Creativity, Which you can find at

In this conversation we talk all things creativity -

What it means to be creative?

Are we all creative?

How do we begin to tap into that?

How to recognize if you are feeling disconnected and how to use practice to reconnect and build sustainable creativity.

Allyson is a ParaYogi and is studying currently for her Level 1 certification. She is a writer and author of two poetry books Come Into the World Like That and We’re Smaller Than We Think We Are. She has a M.A in English and an M.F.A in Creative Writing from the University of Texas, currently Allyson is teaching technical communications at Austin Community College. She serves as Coeditor of The Texas Poetry Calendar and director of Borderlands Texas Poetry review
